Nigeria dominating this game

65% of possession and 15 shots to 9

Slow White guys are doomed vs fast, athletic teams. Poland found this out also.

Argentina needs to start Aguero and Higuain with Messi underneath. Let those guys create a little depth and give Messi some room to run at people.

Or not and just crash out so we don’t have to see Messi grimace through another week.

Germany aren't slow, they have athletes up and down the roster. Maybe a couple of CB's who might be slow.

That team is just so bad outside of their attacking players and Mascherano who's 34 years old now. Such a shitshow.

Germany has been a pretty athletic team over the last 10 years. They're actually less athletic now than they were 4 years ago and everybody is saying "this is a different style of Germany!" like they weren't watching for the past decade. Germany hasn't been a slow brute force team in a long time.

It’s such a relief that now Messi and Neymar, two of the most talented players in the game, and worthy representatives of the Barcelona shirt, will go through to the knockout rounds, while the no-talent hacks from Costa Rica and the beautiful but outmatched Icelanders will not.

Yeah Argentina need to play Banega or Lo Celso (or whatever his name is) to get the ball to Messi. Or let Messi drop deep.

I can see Nigeria pulling of a draw against Argentina

Messi needs to lead a mutiny against that coach and set up the team however he sees fit.

The Swiss did nothing but foul the whole game. Even Lexi said it.

He was really deep in their last match. Several times I watched him receive the ball at the top of his own 18 on a three yard pass from one of the CBs.

Why hasn't Ever been playing? Has his form been down?
