100%. They literally were saying "this was our final, beating England was more important than anything else". Do they want to beat Spain? Of course but this semi was their SEC game. It just meant more.

The obsession is wild
Start a war, take an island that was never yours to begin with. It was British before Argentina was even a country and was uninhabited islands before the British settlers.
In the brief time the Argentine military had the island they abused the people living there.
The Brits show up and absolutely smash the Argentinian military. The fled and barely put up a fight. Lots of cowardice on the battlefield. It could have been much worse. They sent their tier 2 units and the SAS. It wasn’t even close.
