Why in the hell does Brad Davis have a World Cup cap?

Much less was on the squad.

And his one cap came against Germany of all teams.

I was randomly watching highlights of that match and it still makes no sense that he was in the squad.

I've never heard a coherent reason for his inclusion.

If I remember correctly, it was specifically to have a left footed free kick specialist on the field.

I'd argue that's not a coherent reason, considering that he was only used (and abused) as a left mid against the eventual champions.

But it's the only reason you're going to get.

I also think that specific game was the reason why he was on the roster.

Do you not see how stupid that sentence is?

What did Brad Davis provide against Germany that made him a presumed x-factor and not a sub-off after a half of invisibility, which is what literally everyone knew would happen?

Never said it was your opinion.

Regardless, do you not see how stupid the sentence "Brad Davis was brought for Germany" is?

Of course I do. It was dumb in 2014 and it's still dumb today.

Jurgen thinking he was gonna play 4D chess of course. I just posted about good ole Brad playing in the one footed thread the other week. It's still unbelievable

Due to the size of his ears, the coaching staff believed he may have been capable of flying which could have been used as a secret weapon
