My girlfriend is going to Wales (and somewhere near Swansea) this summer for 10 days, and I'm not-so-subtly hinting at her to get me some Swans gear. Then they would move to the currently unoccupied #3 slot.

2. Whoever's playing Bayern Munich/Barcelona/Rangers

MLS...
1. Seattle

Good call with starting this thread. Was going to start one asking why posters support their favorite club-always interested in people's reasons for their allegiances.

Yeah, reasons are always good to hear.

Some of mine are real deep (ManU because of my dad, Celtic because of extended family throughout the years), and some are real shallow (Inter because I had a jersey when I was a kid, Seattle because they have huge crowds and awesome uniforms). Oh, and I've never beaten Barça on FIFA, so I automatically hate them.

EPL
1) Chelsea
2) Swansea (How can you not like the crest?)

I also like Hull City and was sad when they were relegated.
I actually have a strange place in my heart for Arsenal because Thierry Henry was my idol as a wee-lad. But when I was younger my dad, sister, and I picked teams. She chose Liverpool, dad chose Arsenal, and I went with Chelsea as dark horse for the title at the time. :CSB:

I hate Italian football.

La Liga
1) Sevilla (visited in 2006)
2) Barça

Bundesliga
1) Schalke
2) Borussia Mönchengladbach

MLS
1) Chicago Fire (Vamos la machina roja, este noche tenemos que ganar!!!)
2) D.C. United

1. Liverpool
2. Newcastle

When I knew nothing about the EPL, I decided to follow Newcastle just because of the beer. I started following Liverpool around the halfway point of the season, and a few weeks later they bought my favorite player from Newcastle.

If we're doing other leagues:

Scotland - Celtic

Italy - Roma/Fiorentina

(I really dislike Serie A, but studied abroad there and one of my majors was Italian so I had to pick)

Austria - Rapid Wien

(Did law school study abroad there - hence that pick. Although its more of a pointless pick because lets be honest, when does an Austrian team ever make the headlines for any reason other than rioting on the pitch during a game?)

Arsenal, bro? You're better than that, beast. If you like Arsenal second then I rescind my Liverpool at 2.

He's obligated to say Arsenal to appease his Gunner constituents at Finns.

Besides, we all know there is an implicit alliance between the Arsenal boys and the Scouse on this board. If there was a soccer board civil war Tottenham and United would be screwed.

Doing great Glass!

I would feel a lot better if Arsenal would cool off since Chelsea are in complete scramble mode.
