As you read this JK quote, remember that Landon Donovan has played left mid for the USMNT.
quote:

"We can shift people around a little bit," said Klinsmann. "We can bring Eddie Johnson right away on the right side if we want to. We can move Fabian Johnson to the right and bring in Brad Davis on the left or even [Edgar] Castillo like we did in Jamaica. We go through all those pieces. We have a pretty good idea of how we're going to start tomorrow."

And what's the deal with the playing surface?
quote:

The same can't be said about the state of the playing surface at CenturyLink Field. Sod has been placed on top of the venue's artificial surface and looked very bumpy from the naked eye. While players stopped short of outright criticism of the field's condition, they weren't exactly endorsing it, either.

quote:

"It's a heavy, slow surface," said Bradley. "Ideally, when you're playing at home, you'd like to have a field where the grass is cut real short.

Seems stupid to have a home game with a poor pitch.

And it also seems like seattle is not selling out the allotted 45,000 tickets. It might be a dud all the way around as a host site.
