US will have 24 hours after tonight's game to notify CONCACAF of the possible 4 new players from 12-man list for Gold Cup knockout rounds.

Possible US callups for knockout rounds: Hall, Besler, Bocanegra, Evans, González, Davis, Feilhaber, Pontius, Zusi, Gordon, E. Johnson, Wood

Besler and Gonzo to get more work possibly. Evans to play RB if needed.

Have to be someone at RB... nobody has impressed. Maybe someone else to play the left wing and CB?
I'd say... Zusi (see if he can work with Donovan) or GAM, Brad Evans (yet another chance to take over at RB), CBs (give Boca a shot) or Besler/Gonzo to start next to each other

This is what I imagine will happen, although it is gonna hurt SKC a lot because we have 2 big games coming up (RSL, MON). The RSL game is a day before the quarterfinals though, so maybe they will play then report after the game?

I don't see value in bringing in Besler *or* Gonzalez, and I haven't seen anything so alarming from the three current CBs that suggests that they should be replaced and bring both of them in. This afternoon's game could change that.
If it were my roster, I would bring in Evans to shore up RB, bring in Zusi to play LM (and see how he does with Donovan) and bring in Eddie Johnson to provide wing depth, speed up top and goal scoring ability.
Release Ashe, Bruin and McInerney.
I suppose you could make a case to release Bedoya and bring in Gordon (
) to provide a back to the goal forward.

id love it to be Benny but we are doing well at CM

I don't see what Benny offers that is wildly different from what Corona or Torres can.

Benny hasn't been able to go the full 90 minutes for SKC other than a couple times this season, I don't see the point in bringing him in to be a super sub and take PT away from the guys that are already there, especially when he is probably behind all those guys in the player pool.

The more I think about it, the more I think I'd like to see Johnson on the left, Zusi on the right, with Donovan sitting behind somebody at striker.
With two of Holden/Diskerud/Beckerman behind those four, I think you get a reasonable facsimile of the group we used in qualifiers.
Best opportunity to look at what some of these guys could do in the same setup as the A group, and you still have a fair amount of firepower on the bench if you need a goal.
