Here on vacation. Anyone been here before and know a good place to watch the game and get a few drinks? Also let me know how wild it is. I say the more wild the better but I'm also with the family (all over 21)

I'm pretty sure Italy will shut down for finals. It's a pretty big deal. I'm sure any bar will do, or they may have public showings in a town square.

Anywhere? Everywhere?
Jesus, if you have trouble watching the Euro final, between Italy and Spain in ITALY, you're either blind, deaf, dumb or some combination of the three.
That's like rolling into Baton Rouge on a Saturday in the fall and "hoping" to find a place with the LSU game on TV.
ETA: Or this could also be a "look at me, I'm in Italy" post.

There is an American sports pub in Florence if that's what you are asking. I went there Summer of 2007 to catch a baseball game. It's called Florence Sports Pub il Fauno. (I'm looking at my drinking card that has been in my wallet since then. I'm only 4 beers away from a free t-shirt).

It's not quite as easy overseas as it is here. Not every bar has a TV like in the states because a lot of countries charge for a TV license. I was in England for the FA Cup final and it was more difficult that it should have been to find a place to watch.

Public areas are far better for gamewatching in Europe than even in some bars.

This.
I would just walk around and soak it all up. I'm thinking you're never more than 100 feet from someone showing the match as long as you stay in the city centre.

Get to the top of Il Duomo and you will be able to see something, somewhere.

If in Florence, I would think areas near the Ponte Vecchio and Piazza del Duomo would have some good viewing areas.

public viewing for sure, most Europeans don't work on sundays regardless so bars and such being open will be hard to come by

yea this is true too, here in germany if a bar does not have the sky sign outside they will most of the times not have games on
