I don't know where in the top 5, but Man City's comeback vs. QPR for the title is up there. It doesn't get much more exciting than that.

What's your connection to Cameroon?
Posted on 6/18/12 at 7:29 pm to castorinho
I thought you were from France?
Posted on 6/18/12 at 7:33 pm to LSUSOBEAST1
No, we just speak French there (and English in some parts). Colonization.
Posted on 6/18/12 at 7:34 pm to castorinho
Well I knew you were French but legitimately thought you were from France
Posted on 6/18/12 at 7:34 pm to LSUSOBEAST1
Well I did stay there for a bit but that's all.

Not going to lie, it probably doesn't get in any of my top 5 moments. Turkey beating Senegal in 2002 and the US beating Mexico in 2002 would probably make the top 10, and I think Fenerbahce's quarterfinals run in the Champions League might get in around 9 or 10, but I just wanted to post about Leeds.
Those late 90s Leeds squads are about as close as we'll ever get to the early 90s Liverpool squads when it comes to talented, highly skilled English youngsters who wanted to get blackout drunk, frick Page 3 girls, and get into fights.
Other than Harry Kewell, I don't think I could trust a single guy on that team with a goldfish, much less a million dollars, a mansion, a Mercedes, and a wife. Maybe Viduka.

I could watch highlights of that 1972 7-0 win over Southampton over and over. That team would compete with Barca

the groin problems that plagued harreh during his later leeds years and liverpool tenure were a result of he and his wife having too much sex. and i'm not making this up, she revealed it to an australian paper.

1) USC loss announced in Tiger Stadium meaning if we beat UF we're #1 for the first time in half a century. Tiger Stadium never has, and never will be that loud again. I put my cup on the bleachers and I watched it vibrate off and fall on the ground from the noise.
2) Gerrard getting dragged down in the box to set up the penalty to draw us level with Milan in the 2005 CL final. I literally thought I was dreaming. I honestly didn't think what had happened in the last 6 minutes was part of reality. If heaven exists, the feeling I had in that one moment will be what its like.
3) Dying seconds goal to win the group - WC 2010
4) Flynn bomb to the end zone against Auburn with 3 seconds left and everyone assuming they would kneel. No one saw that shite coming, it was incredible.
5) City winning the title over United when all hope was lost. Greatest finish to a season in history. And yes, I fricking hate Manchester United that much.
