Lalas tweeted that Olimpacos was looking at Boca

dominating the 3rd division

Id like to see:
Bokes in MLS
Bedoya and Edu in either Bundesliga, or one of the equivalent mid-tier leagues. Maybe even nPower Championship.

Bundesliga isn't a mid tier league. Bedoya isn't good enough. Edu maybe could play on a few teams but he'll probably end up in turkey.

Well... Second tier. Assuming we agree that Bundesliga would be rated below La Liga and EPL. Mid-tier was a poor choice of words.

Bundesliga is firmly in the first tier with England and Spain, but that's another thread.
Boca I would love to come home, but Bedoya and Edu need to stay in Europe. Germany or Holland would be great landing spots.

Bundesliga is pretty damn good

There's an argument for it. I guess I consider EPL-Spain as tier 1, Bundesliga-Serie A as tier 2. But, as you say, this is for another thread.

Tier 1 - EPL, Spain, Bundes
Tier 2 - Serie A, Ligue 1, maybe Portuguese
Tier 3 - Holland, Turkey, maybe Belgium and Greece
Tier 4 - Who cares

Russian Premier League belongs in here somewhere.

These tiers are stupid. The difference between the richest leagues is extremely small. England dominates the club competitions because they have the most money, but before 2005, there hadn't been a English team in the CL final for 21 years. And no one remembers the star-studded Italian teams (pre-2006) because the Italian league is poorer compared to other leagues. Yet the Italian team has reached the finals of two major tournaments with domestically based players (with the exception of Balotelli, who still plays in an Italian style team). These things are cyclical, and most of these distinctions are myopic. No one discusses the fact that the Bundesliga made the conscious decision that no club in Germany should become insolvent because they are chasing after continental glory. Hence the standard of play in the league is quite high, and it is the best supported league in the world in terms of attendance, but German teams, outside of Munich, rarely challenge for continental trophies.
That said, I hope our players land in the Bundesliga, as playing in that league might help our national team, which is heavily German-based.
Edited to add: I forgot about Man U's CL win in 1999.

I think Bedoya would do good to go on to Holland. France or Germany for Edu would be about right.
