Round.
You're welcome, in hindsight.

As far as round balls go this one is the roundest

nike are the best...you want one that is hand stitched
This one is the one I play with and I love it, goes where I want it to every time. Ive played with the $150 premier league ball and am going to get one of those when I get a little extra cash.

I've found that the $50 version of the current adidas ball (whatever the current version is) is usually adequate.
My O-30 team uses the NFHS version of the Jabulani, and it's a big step up from a $19.99 Academy special.
If you check soccer.com you can occasionally catch an actual match ball at a great discount, but they go quickly. Match balls are the tits, and can even make an oaf like me look skilled.
I would imagine that the Euro 2012 and 2012 Champions League match balls will be on sale before the end of the year. You'll have to move quickly, though.

I have this ball. It sticks to my foot a bit and it doesnt bend as much as I would like. Not a bad ball but you can do a bit better for 50 bucks imo

Whatever Adidas top of the line ball is

as you can see it really comes down to personal preference, you have to play with different kinds and you'll find out which one you like most

I personally think the Nike $50 versions of their $150 ball are better than Adidas. Like one already said, the Adidas feel very sticky and the Nike feels so much like the expensive one

The $50 select balls are also a good buy

What OG said - the Brine NCAA ball is the best one I have ever kicked.

I agree. I try to play with as many balls as I can.
That way, I can really have a feel for different balls in any situation.
I like to consider myself an expert when it comes to balls, and specifically ball handling.

those brine balls are legit. but those expensive nike total 90 balls with like the faded coloring are just fricking fantastic.

This.
DON'T GET A BALL THAT IS GLOSSY.
For some reason companies (cough Adidas) started making balls that have a glossy, sticky finish to them. So many people trip over these balls while playing and it's a huge pain in the arse. Get a ball with a matte finish. You will thank me later.

This is true
Also, when are you moving to NOLA for school?
