I love German. From a crisp Pilsner to a Marzen to Rauchbier, they do it all well consistently.

All that with the purity law, it is impressive.

Czech and Belgium are fantastic too.

United States easily. No one comes close since craft beer got big. Germany and Belgium have some outstanding beers, but we have such a high volume of quality breweries now it's not even fair.

ETA: Europe may be trying to catch up but they are still years behind the US. Any European country would do well to match California or Colorado by itself.

Also, GTFO with this "refined" garbage. The US has tens of thousands of breweries making everything from delicate sours to mouth blistering IPAs. We've got it all, heavy handed, refined, whatever. Also lol at Dandy talking about how the US beers are too heavy handed and then SCH says US beers aren't as good as Brewdog, who makes the most heavy handed unrefined novelty beers in the world.

I really want to know: Is there anything you think the U.S. does better than Europe?

No

They ruin everything by covering it in sauce

Sauces make me shudder for some reason. Seeing food drowned in sauce is a disgusting act.

Brewdog has already taken over Europe with a shite ton of bars and excellent food.

Just opened a huge brewery in Ohio soon to be followed by hotel.

If you have ever had brewdog beers you wouldn't be saying this.

I'd take a quality dry rub all day

Throw a little sauce on it.

But Germans put it on everything and it's annoying. Seeing BBQ sauce on steak is down right disrespectful.
