I love this lower section of Loftus Road... i need a new team, and there's no Wolves this year...
i saw this place on a FA Cup tie, and it's badass for night games... Brighton and Hove Albion

When I went over last year I was able to travel around London a bit and went on an expedition to the cottage. Very difficult to find it, we accidentally ended up at Stamford Bridge. We finally found the cottage and I couldn't agree more. It's just such a charming area, the last thing you'd expect in London. Got to see the Michael Jackson stadium as well
Besides the bridge an CC we saw Leeds vs Millwall at the Den and Newcastle vs Villa at Villa park. Villa park gets my vote of course.

For atmosphere and proximity to the pitch, Loftus Road is as good as any.
If you like leg room, comfort, amenities, open concourses, or quick and easy access to the toilet, it may not be for you.

I love watching EPL games in the classic stadiums, it is one of the things that drew me into watching in the first place. I don't understand why stadiums such as Emirates don't at least attempt to mirror the style of the traditional English look which adds to the atmosphere.

Stadiums Where I've Attended Matches
1). Celtic Park---Saw Celtic v. Inter here last Saturday; massively large stadium. Only issue was transportation to the stadium from the city centre and vice-versa. Not too keen on walking through Bridgeton in a celtic top, either.
2). Loftus Road
3). The Kassam---Home of Oxford United; Great ground for a League Two side.
Out of Stadiums I've Toured

I was given loads of advice before heading over to Parkhead re: safe travel, ranger bars vs. celtic bars, etc.
Everyone warned against using the underground via Bridgeton, if a Celtic supporter. I probably wouldn't have done it alone, but with two mounted escorts and a throng of bhoys, I had a bit more courage.

Anfield.
The outside is ugly (save the Shankly Gates/Paisley Gates). But the interior (boot room, meeting rooms, press room, etc.) have literally not been changed at all since 1884 and the days when we used to be Everton (other than a fresh coat of red instead of blue). They even still use the same old wooden benches. Its like stepping back in time.
We don't have fancy carpets, televisions, and mahogany lockers. Just simple hooks behind a long bench that takes up the entire wall. Its really cool how they haven't tainted the place with the perversions of modern football. Its just enveloped with history and tradition.
