It was a joke because I was using the Spanish Flag so I was using the Spanish spelling.

Nobody said anything about the hand ball?

I'll be in the minority here, but good no-call IMO. The rule, as written, was not infringed upon.

I tried to start a discussion, but everyone hates Barcelona so much that they didn't care.

Why do people hate Barcelona again? I'll never understand it

Could have gone either way. Depends upon the official. In Spain, that's a clear handball punishable by stoning. Elsewhere, not so much.

I think the biggest issue with the handball was that it directly lead to the Boateng goal. It was a shitty call based on the placement of his hands. Intent is always a such subjective to what equates to intent. I was reading USSF's guide for referees and how to interpret "intentional handballs" and found this bit interesting.
Boateng plays the ball immediately after it hits Zapata's hand. Does "subsequent action" include a teammate's player playing it off his hands?
Now where's Randy to talk about that massive pro-Barca UEFA conspiracy?

Moving hands or arms instinctively to protect the body when suddenly faced with a fast approaching ball does not constitute deliberate contact unless there is subsequent action to direct the ball once contact is made

Yeah I thought it should've been called back as well but w/e.
Also who the hell said "Milan is dominating this match" I'm pretty sure you can't dominate with 30% possession.
You can win sure, but dominate is a different word altogether.

I would assume that they are talking about a player who attempts to redirect the ball with their arms while protecting themselves.

Wrt his arms being over his head? Definitely at the other end of the field. I don't know about this particular situation. He's clearly trying to GTFO of the way, and it would generally be to his advantage to do that.

That was fairly dominant win for Milan. Most of the time, teams that anchor against Barcelona give up a ton of shots, both inside and outside the box. I think Abbiati had one save the entire game. That was in large part because Milan defenders tackled exceptionally well in the final third.
But yeah, the more I watch that GIF, the more it looks like a horseshite call.
The second leg should be great entertainment.

I would just say that they played well and took advantage of their chances, to me dominant implies something like a 3-0 win with 80% of possession and a shot ratio of something like 20/2
But I guess it is true that Barca had next to zero shots on target, so it might be more true than I thought.

What exactly did Barcelona dominate? The ball?

At the same time without that hand ball it would have just soared out of bounds... instead they got a goal because his hand touched the ball.
