Watched one of their halfs (halves?) last weekend. They aren't that good. Drogba isn't a top striker anymore and Sneijder isn't at full-form.

I figured they probably weren't that good, but schalke is just so miserable. Since their November 21 1-0 win over olympiakos they have 1 win in all competitive fixtures and they still managed to give up 4 goals in that game

Drogba scored off the bench and had a shot that led to a goal two minutes later in his debut Friday. He'll be good enough to impress in Turkey and against a miserable team like Schalke.

This. And the last time he scored in this cup was pretty magical.

they're now in 10th place. only 18 teams in the league (they are actually tied for 8th on pts and then tied for 9th after GD, but S comes after B so i'm calling it 10th)

While Schalke have been unimpressive in the Bundesliga, their Champions League form has been far more impressive.

Still gonna be an uphill climb against the top of the Turkish League.

Yea I was watching. Aside from that goal (which was pretty lucky IMO) he looked very average. Not saying he can't reproduce magical moments like that one (which he obviously still can), but he isn't the same player over a 90 minute stretch in the CL. But like Tweezy said, Schalke are miserable.

Wait. Are you talking about Drogba? Because his last goal in this cup was a penalty kick to win it. Secondly, Tweezy is NOT saying Schalke is miserable but rather defending their place in their league.

From Chelsea's performances this season, it's clear that Roman made a deal with the devil

I'm talking about Drogba in his debut performance for Galatasaray where he scored a header against the worst team in the Süper Lig. If you've seen the goal, you will know that it was one of those 1 in 100 type things. And yes, Tweezy is saying Schalke is miserable.

Oh you are right. Read Tweezy backwards. Lol.
With Drogba, I was mentioning his last cup performance goal. Gotcha now.

Catalonia has one of the coolest "national" team crests

I mean, what kind of message are you sending about your team's quality if you crest is a guy hitting a bicycle kick?
