Even if you were trying to compare the partying after you really can't.
Nola after the saints won was nuts of course but lots of american cities are after winning esp for the first time in a long time.
Now imagine the whole country partying even harder after breaking down the differences b/w clubs.

He's talking about the party. Where you in NOLA for the Super Bowl victory? It was insane, every street packed with people, cops drinking beers and taking Jell-O shots, homeless muggers giving you bear hugs and partying with everyone else.
Obviously the World Cup is bigger, but as for a single party in a city after a sports victory, it can't get much better than that night, made Mardis Gras seem super tame

But you don't party with the whole country, you party with the people in the area you are at, and NOLA was pretty much tops that night

no one is down playing how wild NOLA was
some people get so defensive about this shite.
Yes there are cities esp over here that would/are more wild after winning say the UCL.

You do know how large Buenos Aires is right? What do you think their city will look like if Argentina wins?

thank you as a Saints fan for bringing some reason to this
Some people on here feel their shite is the best no matter what.
o and it would look like a war zone. Same with Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich etc.

You're the one who always wants to compare/claim everything is better wherever else. I'm sure lots of cities get just as wild, I don't know why you feel the need to declare that "lots of cities over here get wilder after winning" when you don't even have a point of reference

I was just saying on a local level it doesn't gets much wilder than NOLA 09' but they would pale in comparison to an entire country losing their shite.

Bump for what is sure to be a slow day at the office.
Had a great time last night. Germans are very serious about their football. It was very quiet and serious during the match... Oddly so. But things came alive when they scored.
Entire city street party, fireworks set off in the middle of downtown, parades of cars, cops letting people do what the hell they want. It was a blast.

Yea all the pics and vids my friends put up made it look out of control. Flares, fireworks etc.
People jumping on buses and cars and shite.
He said looks like no Germans are at work today b/c the roads were empty this morning.
