That one wasn't close to a penalty for me. LeRoux was able to get a head on the ball and didn't complain about it after the fact.

It looked like the defender just wrapped her arms around Syd. Whether Leroux gets to the ball or not does change if it's a foul or not. The only real indication that it wasn't a foul was Leroux not arguing. That's pretty convincing, but she very well could have just seen what happened to Italy for arguing a call.

We need to slow it down. Read the defence looks like we're rushing things out there. Hopefully we can capitalize on these good chances we are getting. Just need to play within ourselves and we should he fine.

Yeah, not surprising. Sundhage knew what she was doing. She knows Lloyd better than most and probably knew that comments she made would have an affect on Lloyd in some way.
