- You can just tell the game isn't too fast for Sergeant. His vision to play in teammates and composure on the ball in the final third are rare traits for a US #9. Future looks bright for this kid

Missed the game but almost every US highlight I saw involved a solid contribution from him in some way. This guy has potential and I hope his trajectory continues. He could be a big deal for us in the next two WC's.

he will be. he's the most sure-fire bet next to pulisic in terms of being goats for the usmnt future.

Not sure if this is tongue-in-cheek, but if not, lets slow our roll a little bit. Strikers are fickle as frick and Sargent hasn't even got first team minutes yet.

That said, I'm excited to watch him progress.

nah, i'm all in on him. he has 'it'. i hear ya though on slowing the roll, i just have zero doubt that he will be better than any striker we've ever had. he & pulisic are going to destroy the scoring record over the next decade +....this is assuming he doesn't have some sort of major catastrophic injury that plagues him.

I still think Weah has potential to be the most sure-fire we have seen. He is dynamic in passing, looks for the best play, and has effort in defense as well as pace. Also, he is really physically strong. If he/Sargent/Pulisic can get caps and chemistry together, it will put pressure on the opposing squad regardless of who they are.

See, and I’m not sure about Weah. I do think he’s starting to look more consistent though. He can’t go out on loan soon enough.

Kid has a handful of reserve goals and one B(?) friendly goal, and he's already guaranteed to be better than McBride ever was.
