I thought I read they are using six subs for this friendly.

The most important thing we need to get out of this game is that no one gets injured.

I actually think it's a good thing.

He's basically given every player in the Gold Cup squad who is either:

A. in an uncertain club situation (Spector, Onyewu, Altidore, Jones, Lichaj)

or

B. those that would like to be on a bigger stage (Kljestan, Rogers, Agudelo, Edu, Ream)

the chance to play the #1 team in the world, with a damn fine goalkeeper behind them.

Locker room speech:

"You want your chance? Go get it."

The last Spain game gave Gooch a move to AC Milan.

It's too bad he couldn't do anything with it.

I'll go out on a limb and say that he didn't intend to separate his patellar tendon from his knee six wweks after the transfer.

i am just hoping for a fun, entertaining match with no injuries...and biscuits getting punched in the face if he goes down grabbing it. worthy of a red, i think

He had played all of thirty minutes for AC Milan til then. He wasn't going to get games ahead of Thiago Silva. In fact he was behind Giuseppe Favalli as well.
