Maybe we should just go with a 4-4-2. Where we had success with it against a Xavi-less Spain two years ago.

We have some options. We could play Dempsey in the hole with Bedoya left. We could play a triangle of Jones-Edu-Bradley if we play five in the midfield. Agudelo could play as a second striker just off Jozy in the 4-4-2, like you mentioned. I'm interested to see what Bob does.

We could also play Agudelo through the center with Dempsey and Bedoya on the wings. As long as Robbie Rogers isn't on the field.

I would like to see either a 4-4-2 with Dempsey on the left and Bedoya on the right alongside a combination of Jones, Bradley, and Edu or some kind of 4-2-3-1 with Dempsey in the middle, Bedoya on the left and Agudelo on the right.
Either way Dempsey will play fairly centrally, even when he's on the left of a 4-4-2 he's not really out wide. And we need him centrally because he's our only real playmaker when Donovan's not out there.
