Sacha has at least done a couple ok things although it was depressing watching him get run down like he was standing still on that one through ball. Robbie Rogers is our midfield's Robbie Findley.

Why schedule this fixture? If we are just going to throw some kids out to the wolves, why let that wolf be an impossible opponent? Bring in an Italy or Czech Republic or any other team that is still going to beat our asses... but to a final score of 1-0 or 2-0... not fricking 3 goals at half...

By throwing these young players under the bus?
I don't want a coddled bunch of pussies. Throw em to the fire. If they can't handle it, get the frick out. Eric Lichaj is 22 and is busting his arse out there, doing just damn fine being "thrown under the bus."

Yeah, both of those looked pretty bad.
And all of his crosses (all of which are from free kicks) were too low to do any damage. This is an issue he has in MLS too.

Not sure. Maybe money.
Plenty of countries would draw a big crowd if its really about money. I think in the long run this is the type of fixture that hurts US soccer more than it helps.

Why is he taking them with his right foot? Isn't he a lefty?

Well, Bob needed a Robbie Rapist.

It's hard to determine if they can handle it when half the players probably can't.

Lichaj has heart. He'll be good player for us down the road. On the bench unless he learns to play left back.

It's a good thing Hendo was already banned. If he was allowed to post today, he would have certainly received a permanent ban.

Nope. He's ambidextrous. Natural righty.
Brek Shea is a better player from the left side.

Strongly disagree. If you want to try new guys, you try them over time mixing them in with the actual squad. You don't throw all of them in together against the best team in the world and expect anything other than failure.
frick that. Throw em to the wolves. This isn't their first cap. These aren't college kids. These are pros.
This game has been as much about piss poor effort and mental weakness than being overmatched. Sure, we are overmatched, but I've learned a hell of a lot about some of these players, and its worth it.
I don't necessarily like the timing of this friendly, but I don't mind it otherwise.

LOL, I forgot that it should be 4-0.

Think we can get Dandy banned for a month?

Throw them to the wolves? What on earth is the point of that? Seeing how much abuse they can take?

Maybe I have seen this kind of shite too many times with Scotland and it destroys a player and a teams confidence, I fail to see how this helps the starting 11 and Howard looks like he is losing the plot, i hope he is in a better mindset when Tuesday rolls around....

Game is about to restart, hope we can salvage some respect
