This game has nothing to do with Bob. He's trying to sort out who he can count on over the next month. I applaud what he did in the first half, if he uses it going forward.

I don't think Ream's ready but he's still an interesting prospect.

Jones deserves the criticism. Edu's been ok I guess. And Rogers and Klestjan, who gives a frick? They're not viable options at this level. That was obvious before today.

I'm still in favor of trying Edu at the back. But Goodson-Ream is a good pairing going forward, once Ream gets the nuances of defending down.

Pepe Reina is the most bored person on the planet today.

i'm trying not to get so upset, b/c this really means nothing...i just want to see some kind of shot on goal so that our tiny bit of build up can get to something.

i think i'd even feel better if the david's were the ones that scored. not that i have anything against santi and negrado but...ya know...

ETA: sergio busquets getting knocked the frick out would be worth our losing 8-0

Sad thing is that Ream and Gooch haven't been the worst players on our team today.

IMO, Ream is absolutely, hands down, 100% the worst player on the pitch right now.

Robbie Rogers. He's already dribbled past the end line. and fired a wide open shot (that he did absolutely no work to get) wide right.

He and Jermaine are battling for that right, but Jones is more for lack of effort. Ream is just in over his head. I think the hype for him has been a bit absurd, to be fair. He's a defender who doesn't defend well.

The U.S. beat better teams with hard work and solid defense, and this team gives neither.

Why schedule this fixture? If we are just going to throw some kids out to the wolves, why let that wolf be an impossible opponent? Bring in an Italy or Czech Republic or any other team that is still going to beat our asses... but to a final score of 1-0 or 2-0... not fricking 3 goals at half...

eta: no one wants to watch this. its embarrassing.

Actually, Sacha has been the worst. Or Robbie. But I don't count them.

Yeah, both of those looked pretty bad.

Strongly disagree. If you want to try new guys, you try them over time mixing them in with the actual squad. You don't throw all of them in together against the best team in the world and expect anything other than failure.

True. They shouldn't be in the national team picture.
