Maybe not Jones since he got injured last night.

It's a friendly. Who gives a shite if some fringe scrub gets included.

Being that he keeps getting called up (despite him breaking Jurgy's stated profile for call-ups), he's not a fringe scrub. He's going to the Gold Cup.

Also, his place could be used by someone not absolutely fricking terrible who has not gotten called up yet..

Ibarra's not a striker.

He's an attacking mid who can play forward or winger.

Once again we are not exactly deep upfront or in the #10 slot.

Jurgy likes to move players in odd position like him playing striker if need be.

Get over your obsession with your sack Jurgy bullshite.

For those asking, Clint Dempsey left out because he’s expecting his fourth child in June. #usmnt

Also, Jones will not be replaced.

Garza was omitted because he needed to rest some injuries after the season.

Joe Corona, Benny Feilhaber and Lee Nguyen are all MILES better than Ibarra.

I'd much rather see Sacha Kljestan than Ibarra, to be honest.

Correct but other than Benny the other two have been on average form. Benny is just one of those guys who never get their big break it seems.

This call up happens if he was still in Belgium

How is this different from Ibarra who, I add, is playing at a much lower level?

Why Benny can't get a sniff makes no sense. He has worked on his weaknesses, specifically defensively, and has a great work rate now. Jurgen really pisses me off sometimes. Dude should be in contention for a gold cup spot, and possibly as a starter.

Let's at least wait until the Gold Cup roster comes out before we decide to crucify Jurgen, again.

Or better yet, let's wait and see how the team does in the Gold Cup before crucifying him, again.
