I suppose we should have a thread for this unveiling?

I am wondering if Orozco will be included while Villafana will be excluded.

Well, that is good news. Hopefully he makes a full recovery and return.

I'd rather call up Agudelo than Zardes.

I wish he would've gotten a chance to play for stoke.

Orozco but no Villafana. And Alvarado, Chandler, and Castillo are in putrid form. Still, I see Lichaj so I am pleased and somewhat dumbfounded.

Pulisic up top.

Villafana is another one that's hard to wrap my mind around. Also, Mix kind of sucks so I don't know why he's called in over better guys like Kljestan and McCarty.

If Kljestan did not receive caps from Klinsmann while he was playing regularly in Europe and the Champions League I don't expect him to ever receive any calls. For whatever reason, it is clear that Klinsmann decided long ago that Kljestan would never be in his plans. Unfortunate, as he is one of the more creative, technically skilled, and experienced American midfielders.

Alexi Lalas Retweeted Maximiliano Bretos
A National Team is not a meritocracy. It's not about what you deserve. It's personal preference. It always has been.

Tweet from Alexi which he quote tweeted to a guy bitching about Villafana not being selected.

Pretty much hits it on the head.
