Yeah. He should be our starter. We can't take two fullbacks to Brazil. Someone has to back him up.

Wondo made a serious statement today. Complete game. Two goals.

So does Wondo make the trip to Brazil? I have my reserves but he has done pretty well when he gets called up.

FWIW I think he's looked better than EJ in recent games.

Throw him in the mix with some better players and then we will see.

Well the last time that EJ and Wondo were on a squad together before today was the knockout round of the Gold Cup where GAM basically stole the starting forward spot from him.

Apparently, Eddie had a strained hammy today.

Eddie Johnson is pretty awful.

Sobering quote from Jurgen regarding the LB's that were brought in.

"We brought in three guys and we had a good look at them and they weren't on the level of Michael Parkhurst."

It's bad enough that Parkhurst isn't even a natural LB, but it's even worse that he pretty much hasn't played since the Gold Cup and joined this camp late and he was still better than the LB's that were brought in.

He's played A LOT of left back throughout his career.

He's not a guy who rarely played there before, like Beasley, Johnson or Danny Williams.

I would venture a guess that he has played A LOT more RB and CB than he has LB.

Fab is not a guy that has "rarely" played LB. He had a stretch in the Bundesliga last year where he was rated as one of the better ones.

I'd venture a guess that you're wrong.

He's rarely played right back, started as a left back with NE, and was shoehorned into a CB role before leaving for Europe.

He was pretty much exclusively a RB with Nordsjælland so...

Bottom line, he's more of a CB and RB than he is LB, yet he still beat out the best MLS LB's in this camp.

We'll just have to agree to disagree that you're right.

I mean, I don't see how there is any argument against me saying that he has played RB & CB more than LB.

I don't think Johnson fits here.

And Danny Williams actually started as a RB.
