Who would be our 5 takers?

Normally when I start a thread like this, I would give my list. But in this case, I honestly don't really have a clue.

Donovan's obviously a lock. I'm sure Dempsey would take one. After that, I'm having trouble naming anyone with confidence. Any thoughts?

Donovan, Dempsey, Bradley, Jones, Jozy

Not necessarily in that order.

I'm sure Dempsey would be on the list but i heard hes not that great from the spot?

Extremely limited knowledge here but I think Donovan and Bradley are our best penalty takers

Gonna suck this one up.

Dempsey is decent at penalties. Had a big chance against Chelsea and goofed it up. Could have won the game.

frick that was painful to re-hash.

Dempsey took one recently against Antigua and was fine. He also took a couple for fulham and I don't think he missed any.

Jones is a good taker as well, I've seen him blast a couple for Blackburn when he was on loan.

I would replace Jones for Boca. You have to have the captain in there.

He would be a good alternative, as would boca. Jones needs to be in there though, he is one of the better takers we have.

I would go

Dempsey
Jozy
Donovan
Bradley
Boca

Maybe bump Bradley up to 2 and move Jones into the 4 spot

I've seen Donovan take a lot. I don't think I've seen Bradley take one, but I think he has the confidence and composure to do so.

I remember seeing him take one when he was at Borussia M'Gladbach.

Dempsey is not very good at taking penaltys but Im sure he would take one.

Dempsey is just fine at penalties. Sure he missed one against Chelsea. Big woop. I'm not going to hold it against him his entire career.

I would say:

Donovan
Dempsey
Bradley
Jozy

To be fair though the Antigua one was poor as well, halfway between the post and the goalie. But he dove the wrong way.

Not saying he's terrible at them but I wouldn't say great either
