US to play Nigeria in last WC warm up match

Also, a total of 8 teams will be competing in NA in a "Road to Brazil" series before heading to the WC.
Good on US soccer for putting this together. Also really glad to finally see us play an African team in a warmup.

Looks like the closest the USMNT will come to most of us is Jacksonville. I wouldn't mind seeing some of the other teams play in Atlanta or Nashville, if they come there.

I'll say this - the soccer crowd in Jacksonville in 2012 was fantastic. I think having the Scots there helped a lot - but there were still like 5-10K for open training on a Friday.

I like this Nigeria match-up a lot.
Should be the closest we can get (maybe Ivory Coast) to Ghana in preparation.
Taking 3 from Ghana is a requirement to get through this group, imo.

Already booked hotel for NYC and/or Jacksonville.
Probably won't go to NYC, but you never know.
US Soccer traveling protip: If you have the slightest inclination that you may go to a US match, book a hotel there now(ish). Book through the hotel istelf, not Orbitz/Travelocity/Hotwire so you can cancel if your travel plans fall through. You should be able to cancel up to 24 hours before.

Priceline will allow you to cancel on most of their hotels I believe. I would like to swing Jacksonville if I can.

I'm 87% sure that's not correct.
I use Hilton properties because I travel a little for work, so I collect Hilton points.
Hampton Inn in Jacksonville cost me $30+$2000 points.
