They just pulled down their twitter and posted "brb" ...

I wish they would have rebranded right after the World Cup, while interest was at an all time high it seemed and we hadn't gone through the lull in successes after beating Germany.

Site is back up. They're removed the old US Soccer crest from the bottom of the webpage and also replaced the tiny web browser tab icon with a US Flag.

I agree. My preference would be a blue border with 13 stars and waldo red and white stripes in the center (make that the iconic look of the home jerseys already) but I've seen any number of concepts that look better than what they use.

Agreed. Its a logo that won't stand the test of time. It will look incredibly stupid in 20 years.

I'm not in love with the new crest, but it is way better than the old one. Some variant of this would be my choice.

I don't hate it. There's not really anything special about it. It's a bit bland. I will say that I disagree with the above poster that it will look dumb in 20 years. I think they made it bland so it doesn't have the same hatred as the previous one. Back in the 90s, the motion graphics behind the ball probably seemed cool. Now it looks dumb.

I think it looks alright. I would have preferred the centennial crest though.
