One of the best parts of that video is Bradley calling everyone over to celebrate after he scored.

My favorite part was Findley dribbling over the endline.

Best thing Torres has ever done in a Nats jersey. And there is no one like Robbie "the vasectomy" Findley: where good balls go to die.

I am fan of when Donovan blasted it straight over the keeper.

I guess i never followed the NT close enough but what the hell happened to Torres?? He was playing so promisingly and then I log onto TD a few months later and you guys are bashing him. I'm like wtf?

They should have let Jozy beat that ref.

He wasn't. He's had 11 caps, and was mostly unremarkable. He had a very good half in a friendly against Turkey, and an absolutely terrible half a year earlier in Costa Rica. Other than that, he'd show a nice glimpse every now and then, but that's about it.

Internet hype at its finest.

I still firmly believe he'll develop into a good player and I think he'll contribute to the US in some capacity. My only concern is if he'll be able to compete physically at the international level.

I'd hope people are seeing the same thing with Ream and Agudelo. It will take time for them to develop into competent internationals. Of course, now they're old hat, and we'll be scouring the Scandinavian 9th divisions searching for the "next great thing."

I like Torres. He's not going to pass up Bradley or Holden but as jones ages he can get back in the mix.

2nd best moment of the WC for the US IMO. I had forgotten how exciting that Slovenia game was. That ref was such trash, though.

Me too. Like I said, my only concern is him handling it physically.

He's listed at 5-5, which means he's probably 5-3. And you either need to be lightning fast at that size (Aaron Lennon) or wildly skillful (Andres Iniesta) to succeed internationally.

I see no indication that Torres will ever be either one of those, and that limits his ceiling some, I think.

I was just going to come over here and start a thread about this game until I saw this. My blood boils everytime I see that call. I don't think I'll ever get over how blatant that was considering we had at least 5 guys being fouled on that play. Not only should there have been a no call, there should have been calls against Slovenia. Punkasses.

He's already skillful. He'll never be Iniesta but he's more skilled than most anyone we'll put in midfield. I think he needs to adjust to the big game moment. Hell, he completed 90 percent of his passes against Slovenia in the first half, but he was a bit timid at times and had a bad give away. I don't blame him; he'd never really featured for us before. He's just 23, so I think he plays a role in qualifying and possibly is in the mix for a spot in 2014 (Jones will be 32).

It still would have been a lot cooler for US soccer to go 2-1-0 and get 7 points than only 5.
