And UEFA has Israel, Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan - which are more culturally Asian. I get the whole Israel can’t play other Asian teams thing, but it makes little sense. I get what the guy is saying it’s not the stupidest thing ever posted on here nobody needs to be a dick about it. Having Egypt in ACF wouldn’t be the dumbest thing in world soccer.

I don't think I know enough about it to know if that'd be a good move.
If I were an Egyptian or Libyan though, I think I'd be more interested and passionate about games against Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Lebanon than games against South Africa or Somalia. The North African nations historically and culturally fit better with the Middle East than the rest of Africa.
If the goal of expanding the world cup is truly including more of the world, then adding more confederations would make that more likely to happen.

North African nations culturally tied to Southern Europe, want to let them join UEFA...
