I haven't seen Bradley look that sharp since his pops was the skipper. Was enlightening. Especially for a notorious Jurgen defender like me.

Bradley, Mahailovic and Lima were top performers. Zardes was the only one that looked bad IMO.

As for the team they looked organized and looked like they had an actual idea of what their roles were which was nice to see. Saw us making quick passes under pressure into space where we knew a man would be where I feel like in the past we would be caught in possession. Panama did have a few decent spells of possession during the game but this also wasn't the most defensively talented midfield we can have out there.

Bradley is at his best when he's not the center of attention.

He can be a great part of a team - work hard and make quick efficient passes. Play fast and simple. He gets into trouble when he overthinks and plays slowly. You ain't Pirlo, cowboy.

Great news for yours truly b/c of the Bradley USMNT bomb pop kit I've folded in my basement dresser. Just need to lose about one stone in order to not look like a stuffed sausage in it

Can we talk about how good Lima was?

The guy was everywhere, even making his presence known in the attacking third. Love his attitude/grit/work ethic on the pitch. Seems to be a guy that has contagious energy.

He played a hybrid RB/CM role. In possession he acted as a defensive midfielder in front of a back 3 (LB pinched in to be a third CB). Pep Guardiola used a similar set up with Bayern.

I just felt like he was one of 2-3 players who actually looked like they were well ahead of the talent pool that Panama brought into the match. (The others were Bradley, Steffen, and probably either Roldan or Mihailovic, although Roldan misplayed a few times in taking a shot vs the easy lay-off.)

I'd like to see more of Lima in the future.
