He failed in that moment, but lol at calling that a big moment when we were up 4-0 on aggregate with 50 minutes to go.
It's just weird that you feel the need to shine the light on every mistake he makes but refuse to give him a single iota of credit for any good thing he does.

He couldn't make a good decision when the pressure was on against T&T. I have zero faith that he could make important decisions in Copa or the next World Cup.

He's made some decent tactical decisions as well... made some bad ones too.

So its a small moment he failed in. What will he do in a big one?

Don't know, guess we'll find out.
He's a mixed bag, like literally every US coach before him.

He made a good tactical decision to go to two forwards in T&T 1 but it took to long to do it.

So you think he should be taking one of Weah or Pulisic out of the XI to go with a 2-striker formation?
ETA: That's on me, I thought you were talking about in general.
But I think we learned today that Pepi is better as a sub than starter.

I couldn't agree more. Gregg failed in a big moment.
Gregg had all halftime to adjust tactics and salvage at least a tie. But he didn’t. He is a failure as coach and always will be. He has some hardcore groupies though and they will defend him no matter what.
What we saw in 2nd half vs a bad team is just more of what we used to see. And with WC is US26, we are going to waste our best chance to ever win it. The US soccer federation is full of grifters and insiders. They just recycle within their circle jerk. Shame too, because we have a huge advantage in 26, that is rare.
The WC loss vs Germany (and that was a handball on Germany too!!) may have been our peak.

Berhalter calls Dest's red card "concerning" because "it's not what you want as a group and we pride ourselves on our conduct as a group."
Says Dest has "apologized to the group" and he needs to be held accountable because it's "inexcusable" #USMNT

Berhalter said Dest must be held accountable, but after 5 questions about him said he doesn't want "a witch hunt."
"He's a fantastic part of this team. He's gonna learn, he's gonna grow. He made a dumb mistake. He knows that. He apologized to the team and we move forward."

Hopefully he learns and corrects this behavior.

Panama going to go into nations league semis as the top seed
They are up 2-0 on Costa Rica after beating them 3-0 in Saprissa last week.

Obviously the performance wasn’t great and Dest was an idiot but I don’t take much from this game at all. Having to fly down to Trinidad to play mid week on a terrible pitch and you have a 3 goal advantage coming in. We will see what the team is made of this summer at Copa America.

Camp cupcake in January… next match if actual consequence is Nations League in March, possibly against Mexico again

No Team USA at all during December? I guess the EPL gets hot and heavy next month.

It will be absolute scenes at Azteca tomorrow if Mexico don’t come back.
Still, I would love to boss their old and shitty asses all over the pitch again. Won’t get many real matches with them this cycle with no world cup qualifying
