I could be way out of line here. I can’t watch near as much soccer as I once did. It just seems like the MLS makes players play slower. The European based players just play at a different pace

This would be a fine excuse if we weren’t getting our arse kicked by a bunch of MLS and USL players right now

And that defeats the purpose of seeing what they can do. If you throw out a different formation and they are clearly lost, how can you judge them if it isn't even the normal formation/tactics.
Well, you do need practice with more than 1 formation, and with Adams out, I don't know if you can use the normal formation with the roster we have.

Is that them?
I'd say those are the biggest 3.

this isnt all that different from what we've been playing since December. Its not like Jurgen when he pulled that 3 atb out his arse for a half.

McKennie was not good this last season. However, his whole team kind of sucked.

Our biggest issue clearly tonight has been our midfield. Everyone has been poor, but a bad midfield makes everything else nearly impossible.

I agree, but he was also asked to play 9 positions.

Who are for sure starts when healthy for the USMNT at this point?

Pulisic
McKennie
Adams
Miazga
Steffen
Yedlin

Is that about right?

Are you just looking at young players or all firm starters?

When did Jamaica discontinue their bobsled team? Cause these cats are out running us and are playing with a cool calmness.

What an embarrassing performance! Jamaica is more athletic and looks more talented. Our players don't appear to believe they can win.

The ref isn't helping either. Allowing rough play to happen and we have not adjusted. Holding the ball too long and getting caught out.

Well, who wants to go to Qatar anyway? LOL

Because I think Altidore and Brooks are firm starters when healthy.

I can’t remotely blame this game on the ref.

Firm starters. I haven’t been super locked in since WCQ. I know Altidore and Bradley and the like are still going to play a lot but are their roles as starter still pretty concrete. Have McKennie Miazga and Adams solidified their roles up to this point?
