Maybe Morris, Lewis, and Gonzalez? I think most of the others didn't survive the cut.

I think a few that made the cut will be C squad at best in a year or two.

You think Gonzalez is C squad? Really? He started in almost all WC qualifying games in 2017. I know he's 30, but you really don't even consider him a potential starter or first off the bench? How do you come up with this? I can see him not starting, but not even being one of the subs for our 4 defenders?

With a healthy Brooks, I do not think he is one of our best 5 CBs.

Its possible that Omar could start or play significant minutes due to his experience, but I think it would be a mistake.

Oh I agree.

I agree too. But our opinions don't matter. Reality does. I'm not a fan of his by any means, and what he did in the T&T match plays into that. But I think he'll see playing time with the A squad, either starting or off the bench.

I think Omar got the last CB spot on the roster over CCV and he only got it due to experience. I think if Brooks is healthy, Omar gets left off. I don't consider someone an A squad player if they are only on the team due to injuries.

is there a reasonable time table on Brooks’ health?

I imagine he'll be good to go for preseason, but I can't find anything that confirms it.

Fair enough.
