They wanted to try out 2 left backs in this camp, Greg Garza and Jorge Villafaña. Garza played 70 minutes on Sunday, and Villafaña played roughly 100 minutes combined on Sunday and Friday. Garza has made 10 or so caps for the national team, he's not as unproven as J.V. so it's not surprising that he would've gotten one start and then taken a seat. Coaches had a full camp and then about 170 minutes of game time to assess their options at left back from a limited pool. The last 10 minutes was going to provide nothing new, interesting, or useful for them when it comes to making a decision for March. There was no point whatsoever in putting in Garza off the bench for 10 minutes to end a game after all of that, and so they let Beasley get another cap as a thank you for coming help out the camp.
I honestly don't see how anyone can rationally think that those 10 minutes were in any way negative.
good internet word, though

Honest apologies if you'll meet me in the middle. This is the only board I don't troll.
As weak as we are at LB I just don't see the point at being sweet to the old guy that could have played that spot 10 years ago.

You don't need to apologize to me bruh. I'd still hit it.

Zusi had NO business being on the field tonight.

Won't worry about it until Zusi starts at RB in game where the roster includes Yedlin and Fabs.

If anything, Johnson would probably be on the left.
You gotta think both Yedlin and Chandler are still ahead of Zusi.

In the last 10 minutes of a friendly before qualifiers in March, you don't want possibly your only 2 options at LB to get hurt. Put in the old old guy that doesn't really have a future with the team. You'd hate for him to get hurt, but at least it won't affect you when WCQ comes back.

Goddamn it was cold last night.
It was way colder than versus Mexico in Columbus.

I still can't feel my toes.
And y'all can argue all the pros and cons of subbing in DMB but I'll tell you what - the place went crazy last night when they announced him coming in the game.
The only time it was louder was when we scored.

I can try. Depends on how the ticketing goes. If it's like it was for Mexico, it's not worth the hassle. If it's regular Ticketmaster presale, pdf, etc it's workable.
Any idea when tickets go on sale?
*offer only valid for Tigerdroppings Soccer Board charter members.

Per US Soccer:
TICKET LOTTERY
Information regarding ticket availability to the general public will be announced in the near future. Due to the anticipated high demand for and limited supply of tickets to the match, U.S. Soccer will use a lottery system to allocate tickets among those who apply. The process will ensure that those interested have a fair opportunity to attend the game.
Certain groups will have a greater chance in the lottery process compared to the general public. U.S. Soccer Members as of Jan. 13, 2017, and others in the U.S. Soccer community will have their applications included in an early lottery selection phase prior to the inclusion of those applications from the general public.

Individual households or places of business will have the opportunity to request a maximum of four tickets and to apply only once. Following the completion of the application phase, a computer program will randomly select those who are to receive tickets. The successful applicants will be notified and their transaction will be completed.
Those who are part of the early lottery selection phase will be sent instructions by U.S. Soccer regarding the application process prior to the MNT vs. Jamaica game Feb. 3 in Chattanooga.
