I don't think so, Cannon has been a little more "stay-at-home" than Dest but still has pushed up for the most part on the attack.

I disagree. Both want to go inside. Lack of width, limited crossing, and poor defense by pairing Dest and Pulisic on the left.

That’s why I was asking about cb depth. We end up with only 3 at the back on the counter bc one of the two fullbacks is always in the opposing box.

It depends on how good you think any 3 of Brooks, Long, Zimmerman, Ream, Miazga, McKenzie, Richards, and Miles Robinson is.

Three biggest positional needs , IMO. No particular order. Left back, striker, and right central defender.
