Dortmund's fans have a history of being anti-fascist, as seen by a number of banners/flags today. Unfortunately, a large number of Italian clubs have fanbases with fascist leanings. DWI.

If only the poor Italians could learn from the fine example these Dortmund supporters seem to be setting.

the difference is that neo-nazi shite gets stomped out in german football and ultra culture for the most part. Racist fascist chants are basically non existent at games

Dortmund fans are crazy and chaos is expected vs Schalke

Wasn't just against Shalke.

There's been a lot of Neo Nazi violence from Dortmund supporter groups. Think they had problems away at Shaktar a few weeks back in addition to their home fixtures as well.

Again, I'm not saying it isn't more than a few hundred idiots but I'm also not the one making sweeping generalizations about Italian clubs being "fascist" when Dortmund may be second only to Lazio in terms of incidents making the news in the 2 leagues . . . Neo-Nazis having infiltrated the stadium security ect. . .

And, yes, Germans do stamp things out better than Italians. That's for sure.

Most Italian ultras groups suck, the right and left wing variety . . . but they hardly represent the majority of Italian football fans of any club any more than these wing nuts represent most of Dortmund's. . .

However, just like with match fixing and their adult films, many Bundesliga fans often seem to not think their shite smells as bad as everyone else's. . .

I wish this board cared less about political leanings of ultras, politics, And racism.

I would rather discuss important stuff like nutting over Stu Bear.

I only read the last couple pages of this thread where people were discussing the keeper being the 2nd to last defender for the last Dortmund goal. At least that is a quick play that is hard to judge. The cross that set up the goal had 4 Dortmund players offside, including Lewandowski (I think it was him) that touched the ball first.

Also, my DVR cut out around the 87th minute. I don't know if the game started late or what, but I went to bed assuming Malaga won. I woke up this morning thinking about how 3 Spanish clubs could be in the semi-final. I'm riding in my car and the host on Sirius FC claims that Dortmund advances at the expense of Malaga. I thought that was a pretty big mistake to make by a professional. Then he repeated it. Needless to say, I'm pretty pissed that I missed out on such a finish.

Great match but poor officiating. Malaga was likely offsides on their 2nd goal as well.

Awesome fan video of the opening tifo thing + the last few minutes of insanity

Ouch, didn't realize the cross before the offside goal was also offside...

Obviously way off...

The guy that was off sides and got the goal probably didn't have to touch it. Looks like it was close to going in anyway. Linesmen on both ends had a bad game.
