no arteta which means flamini will start but ox/wilshere will be next to him. they have to be extra disciplined positionally. guessing Jack centrally, ox out wide.

I assume giroud will start, but news of his affair dropping Sunday and that aftermath, he may be distracted.

Shaquiri is also out, who has played the left wing spot. Götze can be a force in that left wing role, so guessing it'll be him and Robben on the wings with Thiago and/or maybe Müller in the middle.

Question is if Bastian will be fully fit to start or if it'll be Martinez....And who knows if Kroos will get in...lots of questions (that Hendo probably could answer a lot better than me)

Despite what happened last year, I think we can hold serve at Allianz, so the road goal factor is crucial Wednesday.

Either way, I can't wait for City, Barça, PSG and Leverkusen to get things started tomorrow!

That child is too pure for the SB.

FOBUD, I really hope Wilshire plays next to Flamini and Ox plays on the wing. We need runners for Ozil and I think Flamini being back there will allow Wilshire to get forward enough.

yeah i tend to agree. our best bet will be like it was against 'pool, counter quickly. that might mean poldi gets another start out left. santi is great, but he's not a particularly fine tuned counter-attack machine. would kind of like to see Serge or Ox on the left side of the attack a bit because they would have a bit more joy vs Rafinha compared to Alaba. would imagine it'll be the same as 'pool except for Jack for Arteta, baccy in for jenks, and Giroud for Sanogo. maybe gibbo for monreal. i'd like that because his pace is very useful in big matches. can't go wrong either way though.

I am guessing he is the average age of a City fan.

right, and if not then he's definitely been a fan of city as long as most of the "fans" have.

(he's two months old today)

It was not a serious post. I enjoy antagonizing most fanbases because I do not have a team I truly love. I root for Wolverhampton and Real Madrid, but I do not have a serious allegiance. I guess I would be partial to Liverpool among the top BPL sides.

I could see 3-1 Barca if we have a red card.

Like you're saying, it's looking like Rafinha may be in the back with Lahm moving up...not what I prefer, but we'll see. Lineup is still growing on me...

I agree that Rafinha could make a mistake back there...hope I'm wrong.

Also a little worried about Dante's aggressiveness...one more card and he's out for the return leg...

Awesome kid!

My only issue with wearing my City kit today is that I can't simultaneously wear my Zlatan kit as both games are at the same time.

Prediction 2-1 City
2-0 PSG
