Attacking midfielder. He's set up some very good opportunities.

So he's pretty much Dempsey's heir right now?

Did they have 50% possession?

The defense sucks, but other than that, we look like we belong.

If I were using just this game as a predictor of the future, I would think we are going to close the gap as these guys grow up.
I would think the competition the Spanish youth get on a day-to-day basis is light years ahead of what our guys see. As they get older and go to different leagues, that will change.

Does Micheal Jordon never feel grossed out touching other peoples underwear tags?

There is a guy playing for UNC on the same field as guys playing for Barca and RM.

Yeah, let that marinate for a second.

He's much more natural in that role than Dempsey who is probably more of a support striker. Gil is probably a better passer than Dempsey. With more seasoning, he'll be huge for us.

We look great on the ball. I was impressed, but this defense looks like it could give up 10 goals. That's all I was saying.

I know he's still young, but any chance he can play that spot and allow Dempsey to play a more natural position a year from now?

It's good that the academy system is growing but we still have some work to do.

Jurgy should honestly call him in for the full national team to see how well he plays with everyone else. He's not gonna come in and be our 10 right away but I think he can help us out.

I don't see him making the Brazil squad though.

This is a fanfrickingtastic match. Tab´s got balls, and conviction. It´s evident he knows what he´s doing.

This type of match is superior to hundreds of hours in the film and meeting room.

This is a Dresden scenario, no doubt, but the US program will re-emerge like a phoenix.

Growing pains.

We've played better than the score really. Defense got caught out buying hot dogs, then they needed a coke, then they got cotton candy.

Forgot that a number of third place teams qualify for the knockout rounds

The USA will be the best of the rest, if they don´t qualify outright. There will be no recognizable simile between the US of this match, and where they´re at later. They will be exponentially better, each and every match.
