We can get 2nd place with a win by Spain.

We win by 2 or 3 and Spain wins by 2 or 3. Definitely not impossible.

We're currently last out of the 3rd place teams

This whole thing is confusing to me. I"m going to try and figure it out. Hopefully the television announcers explain it also.

I guess the only thing we can control though is making sure we beat Ghana, which is no small feat given our history.

The wiki link is helpful. At this point we need to win and probably get some help, or at least have a lot of 3rd place teams tie their last game

Thank god Torre isn't playing. Guy was out of his depth at this tourney

I think looking at the draw that we are in decent shape if we get the 3 points today. 4 points should be enough.

Apparently a team getting 4 points has only failed to make it through once. Let's get it

TV just said with 4 points we'd be extremely unlucky not to advance and that it has only happened once in a 24 team tournament. Although I hate trusting Twellman.

Spain´s playing a major rotaton (6 changes from last match), I wouldn´t count on three goals or so. Deulofeu, on the bench.

Then again, at this age, I don´t think there´s a major chasm between 1´s and 2´s.
