1. Mexico's U-23 team just beat the Brazilian team that dominated our senior team not too long ago.

2. Our U-23 team recently beat the Mexican team that won gold by two earlier this year.

Which is more of an indicator of things to come? Or do we just dismiss it as more Olympic soccer that isn't an indicator of anything?

Mexico had a shaved head dude playing on Neymar as a CDM most of the match. He was awesome today.

Neymar had to track back way too far to get the ball most of the time.

I think our defefense on the senior team is nowhere near athletic enough to handle a team like Brazil, unless we pack it in more.

Plus, its the Olympics.

I definitely think pele has been proven right regarding Neymar>Messi.

He may have just been trolling Messi, but damn, Pele has just been awful with his predictions.

I've seen lists that rank his worst predictions, with the Brazil 2002 World Cup prediction taking the cake.

If we based our analysis of the state of Mexican soccer on their performances against Brazil, Nery Castillo is the GOAT

6) Escape To Victory Pele Prediction:
During the famous film starring Sylvester Stallone and Michael Caine, Allies star Pele is brutally fouled in the first half by the Nazi opponents. The injured Brazilian claims there is no way he can continue and is carried off. The Allies are 4-0 down, and a recovery is deemed impossible.
Outcome: Pele returns in the second half and inspires his team to an improbable comeback, even scoring a stunning bicycle kick. Even in fiction, Pele's predictions go wrong.

How about this: after we make their collective asses quit on Wednesday, that's the only thing that will matter.

I realize it's an acceptable spelling, but it looks too damned weird.
