I think Frank deserves to finish out the season and see where we are at. Champions league results warrant that; with our injuries what manager would do any better right now. You are seeing an immediate impact with the return of Solanke and inserting Gallagher. If Poch is an option next year then it makes sense as well.
No one has the patience to build anything these days. However I’m most disappointed in the transfer situation. We need players!!!

Prepare for more gaslighting by the club. Frank suits the board because he’s a yes man. This window clearly wasn’t good enough. We are spending boatloads on scouts and data science.

Cuti posted this right after the window closed. Some interesting messaging going on. A lot see this as a cut to the board, while linking with the fans. As in, the players feel your pain.

Summary:
Late European stages meant target players weren’t available. Other teams also had injury issues so were reluctant to let players go. Didnt want to bring in players that might not be part of future plans, especially with so many of our players set to return. In spite of being in a strong financial position, there also weren’t many players available to improve the team. Tried to find players who could readily help the team, like Gallagher, Palhinha, RKM while also bringing in players for the future. In terms of profile, looking for players who can make an impact, and also players for the future. Have plans for the summer already so aware of what is needed with the squad.
