I’ve been saying for weeks this team is close to an actual relegation battle.

I don’t know. The longer Ange stays and we continue to lose with no meaningful transfers, the louder Levy-out becomes. Flip side, sacking Ange would only point towards Levy’s pattern of sacking managers and things not changing. It’s becoming clearer that busine$$ over winning is the focus.

This team needs a culture change in a big way, starting at the top. I’m thankful to Levy for getting us into the financial shape we are in, but I believe he needs to go.

That result is awful. We’re in a lose lose at this point. I won’t argue that the run we’re in shouldn’t put Ange in danger, but sacking him now only bails out Levy and ignores the underlying issue.
Sack him now and we’re starting over for the 17th time in 24 years. New manager, new system, more work bringing players in that fit a new system. It’s just not sustainable.
I have no idea where they go from here. I don’t think the players have given up on Ange, I just don’t think they have anything left in the tank after the last 2 months. Only hope is to see this out until we get some players back and hope that results improve.
The opportunity to use the January window to help these guys is gone now. They needed help 2-3 weeks ago. Brining anyone in the last day of the window isn’t gonna do anything to reverse the damage that has been done to our league position and the legs of Kulu, Bergvall, Gray, Porro & Son.
