Fabrizio Romano @FabrizioRomano Valencia are set to complete the agreement with Tottenham for Bryan Gil on loan until June 2023. No buy option clause discussed, as of now - simple loan. ???? #THFC It will be completed soon - one more loan deal after Gio Lo Celso [no buy option] and Ndombele [€30m buy option].

Not really sure why we aren’t just selling these guys. They don’t have a place here

The rest of the top leagues are poor lol. In addition to that I think most teams know that these players are frozen out so we don’t have a ton of leverage in these deals. For LoCelso I actually like the loan with the clause we can trigger to bring him back in January. If he plays well again then we have more leverage with Villarreal or we can sell him to someone else. He will also have the World Cup stage to impress.

Did you have “shock Tottenham Hotspur rumor for Hakim Ziyech” on your summer transfer window Bingo card? Because I didn’t, but I’m also opposed to it either. Dutch outlet AD is reporting today that Tottenham are considering a move for the 29 year old Netherlands international and attacking midfielder.

I would be onboard with that. Probably BS though, when’s the last time Spurs and Chelsea did business?

Ziyech’s goal in the second leg of the semifinal was .

That reminds me I need to go watch highlights of our CL run again

I want to say in 2001 when Spurs bought Gus Poyet.
Abromovich refused to do business with Spurs.

For those that don't know:

Tottenham will face Frankfurt, Sporting Lisbon and Marseille in Group D in this season's Champions League.

The group stage starts on 6 September and runs to 2 November, with the last-16 ties then being played over a month from 14 February to 15 March.

Last time I thought this Spurs ended up against a Pot 4 Monaco team that had Falcao, Mbappe, Bernardo Silva, Moutinho, Bakayoko, Fabinho, and Lemar in their squad.

Antonio Conte has revealed that the likes of Yves Bissouma, Clement Lenglet and Richarlison are now ready to start matches for Tottenham, having got accustomed to the side’s way of playing.

Will be interested to see how the lineup will be regarding the top three up front

That’s great news. Im not against giving Richarlison a start in place on Son. This might be a good match to do it.

Was hoping to see Bissouma get a start, but I think we'll see a different stsrting XI on Wednesday.

This play style still leaves a lot to be desired. Passing, spacing, movement all seem so disjointed.
