If I remember correctly, rumors were that Besiktas wanted Adebayor in a prior transfer window but that they couldn't come to terms because he was demanding wages that were too high.

Looks like we have the big nationally televised match on NBC (US) tomorrow. That's pretty cool, will be nice to get back to some EPL action in the morning though.

Thanks for the heads-up. Sometimes I get too used to us playing on Sunday. I usually catch the late Saturday game, but this would have been the time I missed it.
With a win tomorrow, we will move up to 4th, and since Southampton plays United on Sunday, we should stay there for at least a week.

Ref was terrible but we played awful. Bentaleb at the AFCON and mason injured hurts our midfield flow.
