This is why I warn everyone who just starts following the game not to follow a team just because of their players. I know I ton of people that jumped on the Spurs wagon just because Clint came over, and now he may be on his way out.

If we lose Bale to Madrid then I'll probably buy a Bale Madrid jersey as well.

With our recent signings, and especially if we sign a striker, it seems logical to shop Deuce. I would be sad to see him go, but I jumped on the Spurs bandwagon before we signed him so I'm fine with it.

I completely understand this. I am so grateful to Bale for his incredible year, and I will always be a huge fan. One of my friends continued to call CR7 his favorite player after the transfer to Madrid. I didn't understand it until now.

If Bale leaves, I think I'll get a Paulinho shirt. But I also think he stays miraculously.

The midfield is even more crowded this year than it was when we grabbed Clint. He already had trouble seeing consistent playing time while Sandro and Dembele were hurt. Now with the addition of Paulinho, he'll probably see even less. This makes me but I would like to see him get the PT I think he deserves.

Clint and Paulinho don't play the same position though, so why would this affect Clint's playing time?

Because we now have three central midfielders who should be on the field in Sandro, Paulinho, and Dembele. I think we will have a different formation this year.

Yeah it would be hard to hate on him for leaving for Real Madrid. Would be different if he wound up on a rival premiere league team.
He's handled it well so far and gave his all last season on the pitch for us. I will definitely be buying my first Spurs shirt this season just not sure who yet.

So Bale will be on the cover of FIFA14 in the UK and Ireland and we in the US are stuck with Chillyburrito.

Will a copy from there work on my Xbox? Is it worth it waiting for shipment from across the pond?

No. Region coding.

If you want Bale on the cover that bad, you can print a cover out once it becomes available and slide it into the front sleeve of your game.

It's not that I want Bale on the cover that bad....it's that I don't want the messican.

Is that Bale guy packing his bags yet? Inquiring minds want to know.

Preseason started today.

I think Bale stays. I preordered a Bale kit. Hopefully, they let me change if he is transferred.

Swag did you see the blanks kits that were accidentally sent out by Under Armour to 2 guys that preordered here in the US? No sponsor logo, just a blank UA shirt. It happened with a home and away shirt.

Getting Saldado from Valencia could help with the striker problem.
