Does anyone think Bale might be our new forward this season? We keep going after strikers half-assed. We got Paulinho and are constantly linked with other midfielders. Bale drifts on the pitch and doesn't really have a set position anymore anyway. It just feels like he may be played up top in the 4-3-3.

Ehh... I hope not. I don't think Bale is a striker. I want him to get lots of touches, which I think he struggled with late last year despite all of his goals.

This should be a great fit. The guy scores goals 2 out of every 3 games he plays. This isn't a move on potential. It's a move for right now. Tottenham Hotspur now has another player who scores A LOT, and he did it in La Liga. Levy has been aggressive this window. Hopefully this team can break through to CL (I can see Arsenal fans laughing as I type that).
