I think Benteke would be a good fit. He wins headers he would definitely help out on on our set pieces.

I want to see Eriksen starting with Holtby and Sandro or Capoue. They need more creative play and I think that might work. At least try it we're not scoring shite right now.

With Soldado was our main striker, we definitely evermore creativity. And I don't see a reason NOT to try something like that out.

The most impressive part of Lamela's day (that included a goal and a 9.8 match rating) was drawing the penalty in the box. Look at these moves.

Taken from r/coys, here are his stats:
quote:

11(!!!!) of our team's 19 dribbles. Next highest was Dembele, with 3.
He was fouled seven times of 11 fouls received by our team.
Four key passes (next highest Capoue/Eriksen with two each).
Dispossessed exactly ZERO times-- especially impressive considering the 11 successful dribbles.
120 touches, the next highest number of touches was Vertonghen with 106, next highest non-defender was Dembele, with 98.
Not to mention his goal and the penalty won.

He was on yesterday that was fun to watch. He's played well for two games now hopefully he's starting to figure it out.

I want him starting Sunday I think he deserves it.

No more inverted wingers. I want good crosses and a wider field. I'm blaming AVB alone for this.

Yup. Soldado is getting no service.

I'm tired of Townsend cracking shots and not finding the open pass. I kinda want to see him benched for a game or two but I still think he has a lot of potential. Paulinho and dembele don't need to be playing together in the middle it's not working.

And I want Lamela!

Suarez has 8 goals in 6 matches. No penalty kicks.

Spurs have 9 goals in 11 games. 3 of them penalty kicks.

We are seriously on our way to being a mid table team. You can't survive without goals.

I like Townsand, but there isn't a shot he doesn't like and if he doesn't learn to pass from outside the box he's going to continue to see two or three defenders around him. Our corners are pure crap and inconsistent. If seems we are playing scared in the attacking third like no one wants to mess up. Very frustrating.

Just to add something slightly positive because I think we're all pretty pissed after yesterday's game.

They did play a lot better in the second half and if Krul doesn't have a perfect game we probably win. (At least score)

I think (HOPE) we'll see Lamela start against city and we really can't play dembele and paulinho together. Sandro or capoue need to start. Eriksen is the better playmaker I want him to get another start too.

It's gonna be a tough one against a city team that just lost.

Yeah. Ankle ligament. I'm not that upset because this may take some pressure off Holtby.
