Toronto Fc looked good today

Really did look good today why is everyone not giving them a shot at title. Admittedly I don't know a lot about the league outside of Galaxy and Sounders.

Yeah but it's hard to judge after one game. They've been pretty bad for a while so they are for sure better than previous teams.

Sounders looked like absolute crap last week and today. Im not judging Toronto until we see how deep their roster is in the doldrums of June and July.
They looked good but maybe Seattle isnt playing as well as expected right now.

Who are they losing besides Bradley and probably Julio Cesar?

But didn't Seattle beat title contender KC last week ?

Is Defoe still a consideration for England?

Have to imagine he's behind Rooney, welbeck, sturridge, lambert and Barkley.

How about we create some fake documents and do a little cosmetic surgery on him and put him on the USMNT? The team could surely use a goal poacher of his quality.

Because Ryan Nelsen didn't even know how they were going to look before the game yesterday
Too early to tell

That would work for me.

Looks like I'm jumping on the TFC bandwagon.

I've been a fan of Defoe (if not his team--boo Spurs) since I started watching soccer regularly. Having Michael Bradley doesn't hurt either. I've also got lots of family in Toronto, so I guess it's a good fit for me too. Call it bandwagoning, but whatever. Gives me a reason to root for someone in the MLS.

This is really the only thing I was looking for.
I tried to get on board with the Sounders but for some reason, I just couldn't.
Being a Bradley fanboy doesn't hurt either.

Every time I see the guy play, he scores goals. He's the perfect kind of player to come off the bench. Especially in the World Cup, where goals can be hard to come by and an individual player can win a match. You can't tell me he wouldn't be a better option off the bench than Rickie Lambert.

You'd think England would realise by now that choosing the "best" players isn't working. A guy like Defoe (you know, someone who isn't a self-centered tPOS) could really help them.

Usually a good trait to have as a striker, or any athlete for that matter.

I was just kidding man. I don't know you, I don't know if you are or not.

Isn't that why they keep picking Welbeck?

I was telling someone the same thing Saturday. I supported Roma because of Michael Bradley, and if it gives me a reason to watch more MLS matches, I'll support Toronto. If anything, they deserve support for going out and doing what the MLS needs teams to do. They got brought in a bunch of talent to bring quality to the product on the field. Defoe's goals looked like he was just toying around out there.
