City = 6 shots on target
CFC = 1 shot on target

Toothless indeed.

Strikers are needed but damn, missing Reece and Chilly were the difference today. Full squad and we are as good as MC.

Face it, we suck. Only hope to save the season is fire Tuch, bring in interim manager, win CL, profit.

Surely this is sarcasm lol.

Idk why everyone is always high on Lukaku. It’s apparent he doesn’t care about any club or the supporters, just himself and how fat his paycheck is. I thought he would be better than he has been, but yeah, he has a pretty bad track record in the EPL his last few seasons.

It's not, nobody ever turns it around once it goes south at Chelsea.

However, when we fire our manager mid season we almost always become best team in Europe.

08 Avram Grant comes in and is a penalty slip away

09 Guus, best team in Europe only denied CL glory by the most corrupt officiating performance in sports history.

12 There's only one Di Matteo

21 Well as a City fan, you know...

Wow. Didn’t even think about that.

I genuinely think Tuchel is a fantastic manager and right up there with Klopp, imo.

Is that a pretty widely shared opinion at the moment?

No, I'm always ahead of the game.

Tuchel and Chelsea was always a disaster waiting to happen. Hoped we could get a full season before the wheels fell off yet here we are...

Shows just how good guys like Alonso and Azpi are to still be there after 40 managers and constant change of play style

no

but running a system without chilly and James and very little adjustment is not looking good for TT at the moment

I think Lukaku has played himself and is dragging the team down with him. Pretty telling that HZ scored and didnt celebrate. He had a pretty animated dialogue going with Lukaku going into the dressing room at half

squad seems listless, TT said they are exhausted. they have played 15 times since Dec 1

it is way past time to get the old guys out of the squad like Alonso, Azi, Jorginho and move on

This was very strange. He almost looked pissed off he scored.

I never would have though losing Chilly and Reece would dismantle this squad. We were playing our absolute best right as Ben went down...and it's been a doom loop ever since.

Maybe it is time to move to a 4-at-the-back system to take pressure off the wingbacks. It would be less dynamic but it might help paper over the team’s biggest issue right now.

Ideally, they might try out a 4-4-2 hex, which would also take some pressure off Lukaku to be the sole striker while allowing the wingers to play wider, with the exception of Mount, who could play as a false winger allowing Alonso to join the attack on the wing.

Idk Tuchel needs to try something different and this seems as good as any other option.

TT better get it figured out quickly. I don’t think he’ll be sacked but Roman is not a patient man.

What's the record for points dropped from winning positions in a season? I bet we've already broken it.
