That was uninspiring. Other than the last five minutes, Wolves dominated possession. Hate to say it but we really miss the Germans Werner and Kai. And of course Lukaku’s presence.

Just bad in front of the goal. Really poor striking. Top 4 is all to shoot for now. Saul actually played well and was a stable force. Thiago is a freaking stud.

Could CP have done better on the 1v1 with the keeper? Yeah absolutely. Should he have done better though? I mean maybe, but it wasn’t directly shot at the goalie, it was a very good save. The “frick off pulisic” and “no excuses he should have scored” tally was in the hundreds. Can it never be a good save?

I'm not blaming him, like I said he's being played out of position, but he just doesn't impact the game much playing that role.

He’s definitely not a hold up player, he does best on the wings (left) with pockets of space to dribble through. Very tough to make this his identity while playing him as a 9 striker

I would have played Alonso up top as a target with Mount playing withdrawn. Alonso, while slow, is a fairly big body that holds the ball up really well. Mount on the overlap would have been better going forward. CP would have been out to the left where he has a bigger impact. I get that is really out of the box type game strategy, but what did we have to lose going forward. Obviously we are lacking big time. On another note, I watched Tammy Abraham play at an extremely high level today. Iirc, we have a buy back clause for him. Just saying...
